ADSW

ADSW (Alarm Detection Software for Windows) is an advanced alarm monitoring system developed by NT Software (www.ntsoftware.com.au ). An interface to ADSW is an extra cost option for Smart users.

For the Smart interface to be available, you must be using Smart version 3 or later, and an ADSW version which uses the Microsoft SQL database. Most ADSW installations which have been installed or upgraded since 2005 use this database.

ADSW Integration

The Smart /ADSW has the following features in addition to those described on the Alarm Monitoring page

- a Smart job may be created by clicking a button in the Alarm Monitoring window (refer ADSW documentation for further details).
- Smart job history is included in ADSW event history
- on some ADSW systems, alarm equipment is entered and configured in Smart (see below).

To use ADSW integration your system must be configured by your Smart consultant. This can be done remotely if secure remote access to your ADSW system is available.
